In order to save the changes you have to not close the Trading DOM. Rather, you need to keep the Trading DOM open and save it as part of your Chartbook. Then, whenever you open your chartbook, the Trading DOM will be open with the values as you had previously set them. Otherwise, each time you close the Trading DOM, you are closing the chart for which the Trade Window is associated and when you open it again, you have a new chart therefore you get the default Trade Window information.
