There is not an advantage or disadvantage to one way or another for your particular situation. How exactly is the "tick counter" value being determined? There is not a way to get drawings copied or sync'd between instances of any type. The only thing you could do is to copy a Chartbook from one instance to another. Just be careful to ensure that you are exited from Sierra Chart in both instances when you do the copy.
