We assume these are drawings, therefore you would want to "rollover" the drawings at the same time as you do the symbol. When you rollover the symbol you get a window which has an option for Also Rollover Chart Drawing Symbols on it. Be sure to select that option when you perform the rollover. If you forget to do so, you can then select Chart >> Update Chart Drawings to Current Symbol to update the drawings for the active chart.
