Hi John, That’s really disappointing and frustrating. The whole purpose of switching over to Denali, and what we’ve been working on for the last 2 days, was to be able to get that data, per my Support Message “Error Downloading Historical Intraday Data” on [2022-02-06 21:30:23]. The Sierra Chart Engineer who responded said I couldn’t get that data because I was using CQG Data and that I could get it if I used Denali: “You are not using Sierra Chart provided data. You are using CQG data and we do not provide technical support for that data. And CQG does not have the data that you require. If you require real-time and historical data in the same installation of Sierra Chart you need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed” Support Message “Error Downloading Historical Intraday Data”, post #2 at [2022-02-07 14:55:56] And now you’re telling me Sierra Chart and the Denali data doesn’t have that data, so, I'm left asking myself, what was the point of all this? Is there any way of getting more historical data? On another note, now that I have Denali, I’ve done an "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download" on chartbooks where I found discrepancies in the data that I asked Sierra Chart for help reconciling in my previous Support Message “Historical Data Discrepancy” on [2021-11-03 15:01:41], to which the Engineer ultimately replied “We are not going to spend any time on this at all. We do not support CQG data and that policy is firm. You must use the Denali exchange data feed for data: Denali Exchange Data Feed We will not say anything further regarding CQG data. You need to use our data feed.”, post #5 at [2021-11-09 22:45:41], and now I have found that those discrepancies are also in the Denali Data. I guess now that I'm using Denali the Engineer can investigate them. Thanks John. You've been great through this process. I was expecting to get more historical data and discrepancy-free data though. |
