How are you opening the third instance? With File >> New Instance? How do you determine that the current service switches to Teton? This would not be possible in a sub instance if started with File >> New Instance. So you enabled Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On in the sub instance? Definitely it will be in that mode if it is enabled.
