When they are showing "Child-Client" then you would have a primary open order waiting to be filled, such as a Limit order. Once the parent order fills, then the child orders will convert to Open orders at the exchange.
This happens when I hit "BUY/SELL MKT", which should fill nearly instantly on the instrument(NQ). Even so, this also happens in sim mode, which ostensibly ignores liquidity and order routing. |
