The exact situation you are describing is not something the system does. What you are expecting is how it works, it will leave the chart where you last had it scrolled to. That being said, there are a couple of things that could affect the chart position. - First one is if you have the charts linked and have the Scroll Position enabled for the linking. - Second one is if you have the Tools >> Synchronize Charts enabled.
