I've NEVER used bracketss,over the last few years Ive been using Sierra Charts and never had any problems ... ,plus if the error was in the formula... shoud'nt the message have read error formula or error syntax instead of error NAME? I'll use brackets and advise. plus as you may note from ths attached pic of my chart and message log,in the same chaet other studies using parentsthes without any errors.
