You are correct, there is not an exact match to the Trading DOM functionality to reset to the current price. The basic explanation is that the scale settings are consistent between the two, but the Trading DOM last bar is always the actual current price bar, but the Chart does not do this, rather the last bar that is visible is what the price is displayed for. We will mark this as Feature Request that you want to have an option where the Chart DOM resets to the Current Price.
