When you reset a chart is it going to put the data that is visible in the chart within view as best it can. This can put the price for the most current bar displayed (not necessarily the current price) anywhere on the price ladder.

If you want to have the current price always displayed in the center, regardless of the chart bars, then you would need to use a Constant Range scale and set the Constant Range Scale Mode to Manual Mode and make sure the option for Re-Center on Chart Scroll is unchecked.
