As suggested I opened Sierra and just opened one chart (File - find symbol). The chart that opens should be for 30 days, yet all that is showing is current data as it is coming through. ie: no historical data. Fortunately I have Sierra installed on 2 computers so my main computer which still has v1097 seems to be working correctly. So I will use that for the time being.
