You would have to setup two different installations of Sierra Chart in order to see the historical data more than 5 years ago.

In one installation, you will have your connection to TransAct, as you do now. You will leave that alone, and you will be able to get historical data up to 5 years ago along with your real-time data. You will make your trades from this installation.


Then you will install a second installation of Sierra Chart in which you will set the File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services. This will allow you to get your real-time data and the historical data as far back as we have the data (2008 for CME Group data, for example). You will not be able to trade from this installation, but you can use it to view your historical chart data.
