First item of note - the Numbers Bars does not work with historical daily data. If you want to use the Numbers Bars with a daily (or higher) timeframe, you need to ensure that you are using the Intraday data by setting the Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data Type to Intraday Chart Only. Then, in terms of the coloring you are looking for, it sounds like you just want to use the Based on Volume Percentage. If you have the Determine Maximum/Minimum Values for Coloring From set to Daily Data, then the Maximum and Minimum Volumes are going to be determined from the entire day's data.
