1. The $TICK symbol is discontinued. 2. We have put a lot of work into the new market statistics and how they are calculated is documented here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SCMarketStatistics.php It is not fair to call them garbage data. 3. This is an Interactive Brokers problem and clearly they are incapable of solving it for you. You should contact them about this. The problem is that if they are not taking care of it for you, then they are incapable of resolving it. Use a File >> New Quote Board and enter the IB TICK symbol on it or go to a chart for the IB TICK symbol and look at Window >> Current Quote Window. If you do not see any negative values for the last trade price or the bid or ask, then they are not sending the data. That is abundantly clear.
