It seem that the problem is that the SC app is not signed by MicroSoft. So even if you have a lax security policy like below, it doesn't allow you through: MachinePolicy : Undefined UserPolicy : Undefined Process : Undefined CurrentUser : Bypass LocalMachine : Bypass (In all respect, it's comforting to know that Windows actually is able to offer a first line of defense, although most users would run all kind of krap anyway.)
