On your ES Chart, select Chart >> Chart Settings. On that page, you will see a field for Symbol in the bottom left that lists your ES symbol. Right underneath it is the setting for Trade and Current Quote Symbol. If you want to trade the MES, then enter your MES symbol in that field (as described in the link we sent you for that field). You will probably also want to select the option for Use as Trade Only Symbol, which means that it will only be used as the trade symbol, and not as the Current Quote symbol as well. Make sure you also read the section about needing to change the Currency Value Per Tick to understand how you would need to change that setting to ensure you have the proper profit/loss values, if you are using a currency value.
