I am having the same problem. I have mostly black custom colors and when I click on one of the black boxes then it brings up the black color on the right. I click on the color panel above to choose/make a custom color but the box below remains black instead of changing to the new color. I even tried "adding to custom colors" to no avail. I would think that I would click on a custom color, pick the color and the box below would show the new color and I would add to custom colors. Something so simple should not be so complicated.
