First, when you have the "strange" chart, right-click on the price ladder area and select Reset. That should take care of it. IF it does not resolve the issue, then the implication is that there is a study that is causing the scales to be off. Refer to the following: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Chart Bars or Studies Not Completely within View, Not Displayed, or Cut Off. Reset Scales.
