I can't find that rule in the documentation. It is my own determination. That's why I'd like to hear what SC team will say on this matter and re 1st post overall. If the Price Display Format has fewer decimal places than the Tick Size, a new range bar would not always occur when expected. I created 2 NZDCHF charts with Price Display Format set to 0.001, 1st chart has Tick Size set to 0.0001, the 2nd chart has Tick Size set to 0.00005. They look identical.
