One of two things is happening: 1. You have open the Chart Values Window and not the Tool Values Window. They are very similar, but the Chart Values Window only shows the information for the most recent bar, whereas the Tool Values Window displays the information for where the crosshair is located. Refer to the information starting here and the item after it: Window and CW Menus: Chart Values Window (Window) 2. The Tool Values Window is open, but you do not have the crosshairs activated, or another tool. If the selected tool is Pointer, then the Tool Values Window will not update as the pointer is moved.
