Actually, we did just commit the changes to have the Total Bid/Ask Volume option work properly. This will be available in the next Pre-Release (v 2219). It will display the Total Bid or Total Ask volume at that price, whichever is the greater of the two (whichever is dominant). We are continuing to work on this study to enhance the options that have been requested, both in this thread and in others.
