The VIX is part of the CBOE indices, not the Dow Jones. You can see what symbols are available on each of the Indices on this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChart_RealTime_And_Historical_Symbols.php&SymbolsPage=Indices If you want the VIX, then you would need to enable the CBOE Indices on the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed page. You can access this here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Exchanges And if you do not want the Dow Jones Indices, then you would want to disable that on the same page. Note that it will remain available through the rest of this month, but will not automatically renew at the beginning of next month. We are not able to refund exchange fees, as the exchange is expecting their fees when an exchange gets activated.
