Sort of. If you have a Continuous Contract, it is going to download the data that is needed to cover the amount of time that you have defined in the setting Max Historical Intraday Days to Load. Refer to the information for this setting here:

If you do not use a Continuous Contract, then you will only see the data for the current front month when you have that symbol loaded. Depending on how you view your data, this could work for you or not. We really can't say. So you will need to determine if you need the previous contract or not.
