The problem you are running into is that the Initial Balance study draws from the time of the Initial Balance to the next Initial Balance time. The only way to do what you want would be to create a second chart that has session times from 09:30 - 17:00. Then use a Study/Price Overlay to overlay the Initial Balance study to the original chart.
