1. After signing up for the service, do I still need a broker, since, if I understand correctly, SC will accept and route orders? If "Yes", why?
Yes, you need to your own futures trading in a brokerage firm that is compatible with SC Order Routing with Data Service. SC is a third-party software provider and NOT a brokerage firm.

Once you decide on your brokerage firm, you may decide whether to pay/use your brokerage market feed or SC Denali (for CME). Read the online doc on how to set up.

I use SC Denali and SC Order Routing (via AMP). With the exception of $0.10/trade charge by SC, everything else billed on my AMP account.
