What Top Step Trader is saying is that you need to disable Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode in order for orders to go to the T4 system for them to be monitored. Since you are not actually trading a live account, at least not initially, you do need to enable "Use Sim Server" in the T4 Connection Details in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings.
