We just do not want people pushing the feature to the extreme with Interactive Brokers because they almost certainly will run into lots of pacing violations and the feature will not work properly in this case. It is OK to use the Continuous Futures Contract feature with Interactive Brokers data, but limit the Days to Load in Chart >> Chart Settings to about 30 days and generally you should be fine.
