I had no idea that vendors would be making account decisions simply by reading account names. Yes they do. And they do background checks as well. The exchanges instill fear in them. Exchanges impose penalties. It is a very difficult relationship, when users just want the data, but yet there are compliance with exchanges which have to be handled, which carry heavy penalties if there is noncompliance.
