Can I use the instructions at Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance ? Or should it be an independent copy, via a normal installation? Also, I am assuming there is no delay in the data being relayed between instances? EDIT: Ok, I am confused. I went ahead and installed another copy of SC by copying and pasting the folder (making any necessary adjustments in Data folder). I was under the impression that the Source Service will be SC data all services (and will feed the data to the destination) and the destination will be LMAX Live Trading DTC It seems I have it backwards? In post #2, you are saying that the destination will use SC Data-All services (new edit: actually you do not say that, I made the assumption that you do. But still I need clarification). Is that correct? Should I connect to LMAX in the Source instant? Also, should I follow Instructions #13 in your link, and change symbol settings? Should I leave Symbol Service Code as LMAX or change to FXCM, which is the data I want? Your instruction says to leave as-is (LMAX) Can you please clarify the exact procedure I should follow?
