and the message log displayed "The 'Controlling Subgraph Reference' value is 0 at the last bar." The value it's referencing is not "0" so the debugging wasn't very helpful. The other possibility is that you are looking at the value after the study is accessing the subgraph value which could be different between the two points in time.
