good morning gents,

first of all i have to say i'm laughing quite a bit because i've heard for a number of years that the support of sierra chart was terrible and took forever.

i've had same-day replies since my first contact, i'm laughing my ass off. My expectations were so low that i am feeling i am receiving a 5 star support service now. clever marketing trick guys , well done :)

So to summarize the current situation : This isn't my preferred option because i have more funds and can also use other instruments as collateral with IB for short moves so using the IB account would have been my preferred method. (i know the IB symbols and their IT platform suck, but there aren't a lot of shops out there existing for so many years and making 200-400 million of profits per year. i sleep well when my money sits with them - can't say that much about many others)

In any case, i'm willing to use this at-home period to try and setup a proper execution framework so i've called both dorman and tradovate and requested again this TTFIX Order Routing Collaboration.

Dorman seemed to know and confirm it was possible but basically requested me to have tradovate handle the request. tradovate first contact wasn't aware of it and wanted to peddle the CQG market data / order routing (15$/month +.15$ per side). so i have now sent a proper email to them and am expecting a reply today. Assuming they do recognize this option and can activate it , i'll have to move more funds there as i only have enough for small day trades there at the moment.

this bring me to the fact that today is 31st of march and i have subscribed for a service that cannot technically work right now and will only work in a couple of days once the paper work is done and once funds are there (let's say mid april). How can we handle the order routing fee in the meantime ? can you deactivate it ?

in the meantime, you also discuss the TT account. is that something i can already progress on while the paperwork is being discussed between tradovate/dorman/sierra ? or is the paper work a condition precedent to the TT account setup?
