We did look into this, and previously for Custom Text Drawing buttons, the font size for the text on the associated Control Bar button would be controlled by the font size of that custom text specified. Inadvertently, that was getting overridden by the default Control Bar button text size, and you also have the ability to control the text size in the Control Bar Button Properties window. And we realize it is best just to have one method of controlling the font size and that is through the Control Bar Button properties window. So effective as of the current version, you need to control the text size either using the global font used for control bar buttons or through the Point Size field in the Control Bar Button Properties.
