I'm using the SC Order Routing service cleared through AMP. It seems to take at least 15-30 minutes for the updated account balance to show up (without accounting for commissions). The commissions don't seem to be deducted at all until AMP runs their nightly report. The account balance also shows some odd numbers in that 15-30 minute window. I haven't done the math to see how exactly they're reporting, but it looked like it could be (previous balance) - (margin required for trade) + (profit/loss from trade). So, a $150 gain on a $400 margin ES trade with $4 rt commission would look like: 10000-400+150 = $9750 balance immediately $10150 after 15-30 minutes $10146 overnight I do remember that my very first trade with this service took a while to show any balance updates at all. All later trades worked like described above. SC, you guys request the balance from TT. Do you know if TT gets the balance from AMP or does TT track it themselves? I'm wondering if switching FCMs would provide better reporting.
