I have already looked at your options for stock data, your info says that you do not provide the option for market depth (lvl2 for NASDAQ and NYSE). This is why I signed up for IBKR at the direction of your info, to provide real time data with market depth. If this is incorrect, and your Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed does indeed provide market depth, please let me know as this would be the best solution. To answer your questions: I need to track 10-15 stocks at a time. I pay about $175/mo for eSignal. It is unreliable and requires lengthy work arounds for basic functionality, but the data is good. Let me lay out my questions, again: 1) Do I need a Professional account (Institional) through IBKR to route IBKR data through SC? Or, can I route non-professional IBKR data (retail) through SC? 1b) If I can route non-professional data through SC, do I do it through the IB Gateway? Or must I have an instance of the IBKR workstation running? I have tried to sign into the IB Gateway, and it gives errors. Quoting your IBKR data instructions, "2. Run the Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation (TWS) software or the Interactive Brokers Gateway program. The Gateway is also acceptable to use and everywhere there is a reference to TWS in this documentation, that is acceptable to substitute with the IB Gateway." I do not have the IBKR workstation installed and do not want it installed, unless it is absolutely necessary. I have been on the phone with IBKR support who told me that I must have an Institutional account to use the IB Gateway. Your info says otherwise. When I try to sign into the IB Gateway, it gives me a User Name and Password error (UN and PW have been verified and used to log into IBKR portal and IBKR support says that the UN and PW for IB Gateway are the same, so not a UN or PW issue). 2) I need help getting this data into your software, somehow. It would be nice to be able to test your software with market data before my 2 weeks trial for SC is up. Thanks |
