So, I have in eSignal account. I have read on your site all about how they are garbage and screwed you guys. OK, you don't accept their data. I also read on your site that the only real time equities data that your software can accept is Interactive Brokers, which you have previously recommended in the forums. So, I signed up for an IBKR account last week and went through funding it $2000 (minimum deposit) so I could get equities data into your software. I have been trying to get the IB Gateway to work this morning and it will not sign me in. I called IBKR and they have told me the only way to port data into other software is through the API and tht I need to sign up for a Pro account. I realize that I have a non-pro account with IB, so cannot use API, but I know that I can port non-pro, non-tick data into SC based on your forums. SO, I hung up with their support to dig back into your forum. Once back in your forum just now, I read all the posts from SC Support about how "garbage" IBKR data and API is and how you don't care and its not your fault. Awesome. Would have been good to know that before I funded an account I don't need except for the data. First, I would like some help with getting the data I have paid for into your software. Second, I would like to know what, if any, real time equities data provider that you are able to get into your software that you do recommend. Thanks |
