Ok, thanks. I find the default is set like this: a) To set a tool's default display AFTER you have set up your TC1, TC2, etc, as you want with line types colours, etc., etc., dismiss that dialog. b) Then, for say a line, *without selecting a drawn line on a chart*, simply depress the line button or select 'line' from the pop up. c) Then from Select Tools > Current Tool Config > Config # to select a specific TC configuration that will be the default for that tool and be indicated by check mark.
