Could you please confirm that to conduct a scan, say for the NYSE, do I still need to place the file containing all the symbols on the NYSE in the Associated Watch list first.

If that is the case then I would need to set up different chart books and each chart book has it's appropriate .txt file in the Associated Watch list.

For example: Chartbook for NYSE - the Associated watch list would have a .txt file for the NYSE
Chartbook for ETFs - the Associated watch list would have a .txt file for ETFs
Chartbook for Futures - the Associated watch list would have a .txt file for Futures etc.

Would this be the way to set up the Associated Watch lists so that daily scans can be done on each chartbook?

You have given me a link above for all stock listings. My question is, if there are updates to those .txt files how will they be reflected once I enter them in the appropriate Associated Watch list. Do I have to update them manually myself.

Do I enter the .txt file say for the NYSE into the Associated Watch list or do I have to enter each individual symbol in that file, it could be several thousands of them.
