Hello! Checking the ZN futures settings on the Sierra Chart (SC) platform, I noticed that on the AMP website in the Contract Specifications section, the ZN tick size is 1/64, while in the SC platform in the Symbol Settings window of the Global Settings ZN tick size is 0.5 / 32, and the price display format is -1/32.

Question 1: What is the correct tick size? 1/64 or 0.5 / 32, and what values should be specified in the “Symbol Settings” window of the SC platform?

1.1 Price display format -?

1.2 Tick size -?

1.3 Currency value per tick -?

1.4 Real-time price multiplier -?

In addition, the price display on the chart is different from the price display on the DOM chart. For example: On the chart, the price is 129 25.5 / 32, and on the chart DOM- 129`25.50.

Question 2: What needs to be done so that the price on the chart is displayed in the same way as on the DOM chart?

Thanks in advance!

1. If you check the official statement from the CME Group for ZN, the tick size is one-half of one-thirty-second (1/2 of 1/32). Therefore the setting of .5/32 is correct. Although mathematically .5/32 is the same as 1/64. You will find this information here:
https://www.cmegroup.com/trading/interest-rates/us-treasury/10-year-us-treasury-note_contract_specifications.html

1.1 Given the above, the correct Price Display Format is 1/32.

1.2 Tick size: .5/32

1.3 Currency Value per Tick: 15.625

1.4 Real-Time Multiplier: 1

2. The Trading DOM is always set to display in that short format. You can change the Chart to use the same format by selecting the option for Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 2 >> Display Fractions in Short Format. Refer to the following:
General Settings Window: Display Fractions In Short Format (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Charts)
