We also want to point out we helped another Transact user today who had a problem where some quote lines on the quote board were not updating.

This was an issue where they were using some symbols with a / and some symbols without. And apparently the bridge program was treating both symbols the same and causing a mapping issue within Sierra Chart.

Transact had put them on version 1941 and as we were helping them and we reconnected to the data feed, the connection was not subsequently succeeding for unknown reasons but certainly related to that bridge program. And also because the bridge program does not shut down immediately, it can prevent subsequent connections from occurring quickly.

We did comment to Transact that we cannot believe they have put up with that bridge program for years.

We updated the user to the newest version of Sierra Chart using websocket connection and there was no problem. The user connected right away trouble-free, everything was fine.

There is not any compatibility issues. And only we ourselves can state that authoritatively. No one else is qualified to make that kind of statement.
