This really is not right what Transact is saying. None of this is even true. We work with Transact closely, and when we released the support for the new websocket connection and removed the old bridge connection, this was with the very clear understanding, that the websocket connection was ready for actual use by the users. There was never any doubt about this. Transact did subsequently disable access to the trading API and once we became aware of that, we made a code change to support that.

Also it is not even possible to lose files unless you deleted the Sierra Chart installation folder. If you need help recovering files, we will do that and we just need to ask someone at Transact to help with your connection issue on the newer version and they will solve that. We will give them your contact information.
