For future reference: I normally connect from South America but am currently traveling in the USA. My packet capture shows that the TLS handshake fails to complete successfully and that's the cause of the problem. I'm currently on a Verizon Fios connection. Configuring SC to use a SOCKS proxy to a server I control in Europe solved the problem. I can now compile my studies. |
