We did not observe any problem with this. When you click on the Manual Start button there is a status box above that displays the status. Does it not show anything?

There was a change, where there is a delay introduced, a quarter second delay while processing through a certain amount of data within the files in order to not cause the drive I/O to be too excessive. But this would not cause the described issue.
