Post From: Chart Recalculation - Periodic study: consequential issue

If while this study is applied to a chart, the user scrolls the chart back in time such that the green icon in the lower RH corner turns red. The chart will automatically return to the latest/most recent bar time when the Recalculation study performs it's stuff.

This is a different behavior to using the Control + Insert keyboard shorcut or selecting Chart > Recalculate from the menu. In both these cases the chart remains at the point in history it was scrolled to.

Is there a way to make the Study mimic the behavior of the menu and keyboard shortcut operation of recalculation?

I do note that if the user has scrolled the chart back in time and the study is applied AND the user happens to be doing something on the chart (eg moving the mouse) at the time the study performs the recalculation then the chart stays scrolled UNTIL the user stops all activity at which point the chart will jump back to the latest/most recent bar time.
