Ok, it sounds like you have a lot of charts and charts which are loading a lot of data. In this particular case when re-downloading data for continuous futures contract charts, close all of your Chartbook's and just open a new chart with no studies and set it to load the amount of data that you do in your other charts. After this do a full re-download of all contract months in that chart. Do not open your usual Chartbook until the downloading is complete. You can compress the data if you want.
