Alerts are an integral part of my trading plan. However, I have not been able to use them as I'd like. When an alert fires, I would like the result to remain true and only receive one alert. Currently, I have "Reset Alert Condition on New Bar" unchecked; however, I continue to receive an alert on each new bar. I've even tried to use "Evaluate on Bar Close" in combination with "Reset Alert Condition on New Bar" in the event that my formula returns false mid-bar.
