Here is the scanning documentation: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#Scanning It is a subsection of the Alert Condition documentation. 7000 stocks is a lot and Sierra Chart does not provide a built-in symbol list for this. Therefore, you have to create or obtain the symbol list and import it into Sierra Chart. For scanning this large number of symbols, we assume you just need historical data. You will need to use an external data service for a large number of symbols. We recommend the Barchart data service: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/Barchart.com.php Sierra Chart does offer its own historical data service, but you are not going to be able to get 7000 symbols a day from it.
