Okay so I updated back to 1879 and tried it again. To correct what I said in the OP, what I discovered is that the main instance actually freezes and becomes non-responding just from creating a new instance. Opening a chartbook from the new instance is entirely irrelevant. The Main instance starts freezing around 3 seconds after the second instance is created. In Windows Task Manager, the CPU usage for the main instance SierraChart.exe process was 16%. The CPU usage for the second instance is 0%. edit I should clarify, no chartbooks at all were open in both the main instance and the sub-instance. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-02-27 00:53:59*
