I'm happy to report it seems to be working now, but the steps outlined in your link didn't fix it. I wasn't sure if perhaps the servers were down because its the weekend, but after deleting some daily data files, it just didn't reload properly. Usually my daily data files for ES are 17-18kb, but I was getting just 1kb files after deleting and downloading data files. So after the delete and download, I had essentially empty data files. What I ended up doing was a full reset of the global symbol settings. (perhaps you would have eventually instructed me to do this after deleting individual contract files didn't work) Anyway, just wanted to update this thread as I see a number of posts lately regarding symbol settings so perhaps these issues may all be connected somehow.
