It appears that "Flatten" does not send the "Close" execInst to Bitmex, instead it closes the open position with a normal market order. When it comes to Bitmex integration, the Close execInst (without quantity) is critical as this is the only order type that is not rejected during system overload. https://blog.bitmex.com/site_announcement/update-to-system-overload-policy/ SC is not responsible for Bitmex' server problems of course, but this is the only way to reliably close a position & you already implemented similar Bitmex-specific instructions for limit and stop orders.
