Hello. So i have my sierra advanced package with the sierra datafeed as well as the necessary CME real time data. I logged in today with an IB demo account being the first day in the month of september that i logged in, and the real time data from the CME would not load. I would not see the [M] at the top of my charts. So i read around the board and found that I need to log in with a live funded account at least on the first day to be able to access that real time data from the CME. I then logged in with a live IB account, deleted and reloaded my charts and it worked fine. After that i exited TWS (ib's platform) as well as Sierra and then logged back in with a IB demo account. Now the M sysbol shows up and everything seems fine. So my question is, as long as i log in with a live futures account on the beginning of each month. could i then use a demo account for the remaining days? As of now i'm logged into a demo IB account and sierra shows the [M] symbol so i gather i'm getting CME data as well as sierras data feed. is that right? Thanks!
